The existing weatherboard home is to undergo a significant renovation plus a substantial addition and stand alone garage/workshop to the rear. The addition and garage/workshop will be constructed on a fully suspended raft slab on screw piles, while the superstructure will consist mostly of timber framing with a small portion of core filled, reinforced blockwork.
